Sharing your hope is a new initiative to help you get a little bit better at sharing your hope in Jesus.
The apostle Peter encourages every Christian to be ‘ready to give an answer for the hope that you have’ (1 Pet 3:15), but there are lots of reasons that most Christians find this hard: we don’t know where to start, our friends don’t seem interested, we’re worried about tricky questions, and more.
This year we’re launching ‘Sharing your hope’ as a pilot project (which will be led by Dave). It’s not an event, but a “learning cohort”, a group of us who’ll try to learn together, to get a little bit better at sharing our faith.
Part 1 - The hope of the gospel - a paper to read, and workshop to discuss. Sun 23 March, 1pm-2.30pm, at St Luke’s.
Part 2 - Telling your story - a workshop (possibly online) about how to share your story, and then a workshop to practise and help each other.
Part 3 - Answering questions - Tues 12 Aug - a workshop with Dr Michael Jensen about ‘apologetics’ - how to answer those tough questions in a way that commends the truth of the gospel.
