Lauren Errington, (Executive Director of the Family Systems Institute) will be speaking on confident parenting.

This seminar offers an approach to thinking about parenting that helps shift the focus away from making a project out of our children. When parents’ energy is directed back into themselves, parents are able to invest in the one thing they have control over – themselves. It will help parents observe their own interactions with their children, and raises ideas about how to work on being the best resource they can be for their kids.

The night will be most helpful for parents of school age children, however the principles can be thought about in other ages groups as well.
