God is concerned for all of life, including our work. So how does Christianity affect your daily work in the corporate world of finance, business and law? Join us for a dinner conversation, with other Christians in these industries and their interested colleagues.
We're privileged to have Simon Pillar join us to speak on the topic: Real gold or fool's gold? Ambition in the workplace. Simon is a founding partner of Pacific Equity Partners. He started his working life in the oil industry with Shell in The Netherlands, and after doing an MBA in the US he spent 10 years in strategy consulting before establishing PEP with three partners in 1998. He became a Christian at university and his experiences of the ups and downs of being a Christian in the workplace are many and varied. He now lives in the UK.
We're hosting this dinner in the CBD (at Steel Bar and Grill), with the aim of making it easy to come after work and for work colleagues to attend. (The menu can be viewed here; menu option to be determined on final numbers).
