REFRESH MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT DAY
Marriage is a commitment made "in the sight of God and the presence of this congregation" - because we need God's strength and the support of a community for our marriages to survive and flourish. This October, St Luke's wants to help refresh and build your marriage, with sought-after marriage enrichment specialists Dr Keith and Sarah Condie.
This half-day workshop includes input from the Condies, as well as time for couples to talk together. Topics include:
God’s design for marriage - a strong, safe and emotionally connected relationship - includes biblical teaching and an overview of recent marriage research
What safe and emotionally connected marriage looks like
What hinders marriages being safe and emotionally connected – includes some of the warning signs that a relationship is in trouble
Building the positive – cultivating a safe and emotionally connected marriage includes working at being friends, being gentle and loving in your speech and your sexual relationship

TIME | 1pm-5.30pm (please arrive at 12.45pm)
COST | $40 per couple
We'll create a special time for you and your spouse, including barista coffee, afternoon tea and a surprise. Child minding won't be available, but babes in arms are welcome.
