Jesus is one of those figures in history that cannot be ignored. And we’d love everyone in Clovelly & beyond to consider Jesus … Jesus without the trappings, the essential Jesus.
We’re giving away copies of “The Essential Jesus” to everyone in Clovelly who’d like one – it’s the history of Jesus from the biographer Luke the Doctor, or more commonly as “Luke’s Gospel”.
In the past fortnight, we’ve given away the book at School Scripture to students who’ve specially requested a copy of the Bible, and a friend was able to offer the book as a gift to a man who he stopped to help on the side of the road (turned out the man had been waving jumper cables for 40 minutes on Todman Ave and no-one else had bothered to stop!)
The news of Jesus … just too good to keep to ourselves!
